coffee website pt.2

This website for java cabana has some things going for it but some design decisions that hurt it. I like the simplicity of the website and i like the logo with the cabana and the the palm tree though the lettering seems a little big,especially compared to the logo and I'm not a big fan of the stencil font, I would use the font of the welcome to header below, since the stencil doesn't show up anywhere else. I do like having the different products sown below and the color scheme of the different browns is nice. the white ad on the side doesn't fit at all and is a little distracting and takes away from the website. Also the metal texture up top is a little out of place, I would either rework the metal or make it a wood stain. Overall a nice website with some elements that pull it down and take away from the good portions.

coffee website pt.1

This homepage for cafe rouge has is an intriguing with some nice elements and some things that don't work as well. I like the the color scheme with the red and gold and the background texture/image is nice and the old paper texture on the top is really cool and gives a nice old feeling to it and the images are interesting though though they kind of give a hallway or living room feel than a cafe. I don't really mind the nav. bar being down a bit but I would like to see a version of the nav.bar on top to compare it to. I also would like to see the texture from top extend down some since it almost seems cut off a bit. Overall a pretty neat home page and with some tweaks can really make it pop.

Boss coffee logo colors

Picking a color scheme for the boss coffee brand is a little tricky, since often there is a limited color palette to choose from since colors like red and green are already linked with well known coffee brands. I went with a sort of dark/true blue and black color scheme because it goes well with tie design and I wanted to avoid using brown since, I dont usually like to use brown as one of the primary colors and everybody else was using some sort of brown for there logos so I wanted to avoid that and change the game a bit.

tie design update

Finished up the animated tie design with some slight changes to the tie like the addition of blue stripes since the tie and boss lettering is black and coffee lettering is blue, The blue had to pop up somewhere else and pushes that tie idea and in the animation having it pause for a few seconds so the viewer knows its a tie. Also made the the top tie part a little smaller since it was a little big before and on a tie the bottom is bigger than than the top and before it was the other way around.

coffee logos pt.4

Another coffee shop logo, this on is a coffee shop and a deli. The logo is pretty nice though if you are also a deli you need more than the cheese in the background that looks like is hiding.I think the should have the right side be all deli items they sell or provide because it makes me think the deli is just thrown in there and not part of the shop. I also might make the bean in Grove lean the other way and maybe have the cade and deli words be another color. Though overall a nice logo and with some tweaks can be better.

coffee logos pt.3

Another intriguing logo for a coffee shop. This logo has a lot going on but it is also controlled and not overly complex. I might make black mountain stick out and little bit more or make the coffee shop font a little more simple. I know that it is a coffee shop but the eggs and bread can send a mix message, makes it seem like a dennys then a local coffee shop would probably put food more associated with coffee shops or add some wording that makes it more like a breakfast spot than a grab and go coffee shop.

coffee logos pt.2

This is an intriguing logo with some potential. I like the playful nature of the cup of coffee and with the splashes of coffee coming out but the spoon gets lost as a spoon and I would have it in the cup since right now it comes of as splash of coffee rather than a spoon. I also might play around with the Keef's Coffee font a little more, maybe a little  more playful but no too much where people wont take you seriously or you  can't read it. I like the black line separating two text, might put some black somewhere else as well since it doesn't pop up anywhere else.

coffee logos pt.1

The logo for this coffee house in South Dakota is pretty nice and I dig the coffee cup in buildings though i might make the buildings stand out a little better or a better look. The white (shadow?) is nice and gives it that sort of creamer or whatever you put in your coffee look but also could be a waterfront in front of the buildings. the colors are nice and soft, though i might play around the coffee city font a little more but overall a nice logo for local coffee shop.

Tie design (boss coffee)

Tasked with branding boss coffee in America, I decided after some heavy consideration make a tie design for the logo that will be animated. The logo will have the boss coffee lettering in the middle with the top part of the tie and bottom half between it and in the animation it will disappear to show the lettering, going from a tie to the boss coffee lettering. Also it opens up possibilities for both a horizontal and vertical logo.
